CheapCarInsurace.Net (“CheapCarInsurace”) is seeking original content in any digital media format including text, images, and video, that exemplify distracted driving and mention “CheapCarInsurance.NET”. Any visual content can not show anything illegal or dangerous. Instead, submitted content is to creatively demonstrate or explain the concept of safe driving without the actual operation of a vehicle.
All submissions must be submitted via the scholarship entry form on the website. Submissions by mail will not be accepted. Any entries that are not submitted via this form may be disqualified.
Award money is to be used solely as tuition for the winner’s own college education in the field or major of his or her choosing. In order to receive the scholarship money, Prize Acceptance Requirements: Winner Notification: Due to the number of entries received, we can only notify winners.
We will contact each winner by email/phone using contact information given by the entrant during application process. Winners have ten (10) days from date email is sent/phone message is left to respond and verify they meet the eligibility requirements as defined on the scholarship contest Web site.
Once you are confirmed as winner, we will send you the appropriate college/university/trade school forms to complete for a check to be issued to your chosen school and deposited into your student account. Before receiving the scholarship money, the winner may be required to complete and return an affidavit of eligibility, a publicity/liability release, and a confirmation of originality and assignment of all rights to the winning design, within two (2) weeks of responding to the notification.
No funds will be issued directly to individuals. All forms and processes must be completed within sixty (60) days of contest end date or your scholarship is forfeited.
Winners may also be notified for appropriate recognition to include award assemblies, graduation ceremonies and newspaper announcements.
Winners’ names will be posted on this web site after the contest has been completed and finalized.
We do not collect personal information for personal use, nor do we license/sell it to partners/third-parties. All submitted data is used exclusively for processing scholarship entries and winners. Applicants will not be marketed or solicited to in any way (email, mail, phone). Further communication may be used to request clarification, send notice of scholarship changes/updates, and to notify the winner(s).
We reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this offer, program, or the Official Rules, in whole or in part, at any time.
We are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical error, or human error which may occur in the processing of entries and submissions. We assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or alteration of entries. Furthermore, all contest participants, regardless of whether content is submitted as an entry, agree to indemnify us and its affiliates against, hold them harmless from, and defend them against, any and all claims, suits, actions, damages, losses and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from the participant’s participation in this scholarship contest.
By submitting an entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of CheapCarInsurance.Net and its affiliates/partners, which shall be final. All applicable federal, provincial, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Your submission of an entry under this program, whether or not you are the winner, constitutes your consent to CheapCarInsurance.Net and its affiliates/partners use of your name, city and state of residence, and your entry, for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media, online or offline, without further permission, consent, payment or other consideration. Further, your submission of any entry, whether or not you are the winner, constitutes your agreement, without any additional payment or consideration, that CheapCarInsurance.Net and its affiliates/partners shall own all right, title, and interest (including without limitation patent rights, copyrights, and all other intellectual property rights) to your submission, and you thereby assign to CheapCarInsurance.Net and its affiliates/partners all right, title, and interest in and to your submission, including without limitation the right to reproduce, distribute, sublicense, perform, and display the work and to create and use derivative works therefrom in any medium throughout the world. The term “derivative works” as used herein has the same meaning as used in the Copyright Act of the United States. You agree to complete and execute all documents reasonably requested by CheapCarInsurance.Net and its affiliates/partners to confirm and effectuate the provisions of this paragraph.
