My name is Jim Boyce and I am a BBB member. I recently did business with Mainline Insurance Services, Inc. out of Chula Vista purchasing a General Liability Policy and Workers Comp through their office. I have to say that their service was absolutely atrocious. After a nightmare getting the policy to the Contractors board, I called Mike back to complain about the whole process. It was literally a zoo of a conversation. He could not see where he had done anything wrong or less than good customer service. In fact, according to him, I am the one with the problem. I am the one being rude. I am the one with elevated expectations. I told him I thought he and his office were inept if I could get the problem handled in 30 minutes and he couldn't get it done in over a month.
In business, our customers are everything. Mike Jones and Mainline Insurance Services, Inc. have exhibited the worst in customer service and handling a customer's problems. It's too bad because he had more than one opportunity to take care of things and chose instead to ignore me. After all, he's already paid, so what's it to him if I am hanging out here on a limb that has such a powerful impact on my business. He "did what he was supposed to do according to the policies of the CSLB" It was "their problem" and "my problem" not his.
