PHP Web Development Manager
We are looking for a part-time development manager with at least 5 full years in PHP web development experience, at least 1 year in managing other developers, and is able to work remotely.
This is a technically focused role, split between hands on work and activity management. You will be responsible for defining high level architectures, managing development schedules, ensuring budgets are on target, and essentially, being responsible for all web development activities. Software products from an implementation, testing, maintenance & security perspective.
The work will be part-time, on an assignment/need basis, and currently our needs fluctuate.
We are looking for candidates who have a quality focus & have strong experience in creating SDLC methodology/processes & roll these out effectively. You should be experience in driving software releases of complex work to extremely tight deadlines. Resource Management will be a key aspect of the role & candidates must be skilled in this field. Experience with complex data distribution, API’s, and SOA’s is a huge plus. The candidate will be required to have extremely strong skills in LAMP, Ajax, and integration with 3rd-party CMS’.
You will be responsible for providing Technical & Thought leadership to the team, mentoring, motivating & supporting staff. First class communication skills is required.
