Very disappointed with service. After my dad passed away and I was appointed the Executor of the Estate, I called to have the policy name changed to the Estate and the mailing address changed to mine. I was told that I could not change anything because my dad’s name had been removed from the policy by his new wife (even though SHE is not on the deed to the house and therefore has no insurable interest). Filed a complaint with the Arkansas Insurance Commission. While waiting for AIC to gather information
was contacted by my attorney that John Cunningham had informed him that my dad’s widow had moved out, therefore the house "may no longer qualify for coverage under Allstate’s guide lines if a claim were to occur" (even though the policy was still in effect). No notice given, so now the house is not covered till I’m able to retain new policy with NEW AGENCY.
